In 2013, ALT 987 will feature some of your favorite bands at our Penthouse, which has spectacular views of the Hollywood sign to the north and the heart of Hollywood to the south. Those lucky enough to attend are treated to an intimate live performance, great food, soda, beer, and wine, and appearances by your favorite 987 on-air personalities.
Highlights of 2011 and 2012 at the Penthouse include performances by Vampire Weekend, Florence & The Machine, The Temper Trap, Foster The People, 30 Seconds to Mars, Mumford & Sons, My Chemical Romance, and Broken Bells, as well as breakfast with Weezer, Linkin Park's CD release party, and Old School Game Night with Jimmy Eat World.

Cage the Elephant stopped by the #ALT987Penthouse last week (WATCH HERE), where they played several songs and also talked about their new upcoming album, "Melophobia," which will be released next Tuesday.

The Killers went back to their hometown of Las Vegas for the music video for "Shot At The Night", the first of two new tracks on their upcoming compilation album, Direct Hits.
"Shot At The Night" was a collaboration with Anthony Gonzales of M83, and as Brandon mentioned in his recent interview with us (Watch Here), there might be another collaboration between the pair.

Haim have finally released their debut album, Days Are Gone, today. The album has several songs we already love including, "Falling," "Forever," and "Don't Save Me" and "The Wire", which is This Year's Best New Song... of the Week.
We’ll being playing "The Wire" Monday through Friday this week at 8:10a, 12:10p, 6:10p and 10:10p.
