On air: Saturdays 10am-4pm
Before moving to LA in early 2013 I worked at a radio station in Seattle for 14 years. In that time I got to meet a lot of cool people and do a lot of cool things. ALT 98.7 has that unique combination of respect for the music and the ability to have fun on the air that I loved so much at my gig in the Pacific Northwest. It's a perfect fit as I learn to live and love southern California. I'm lucky to be working here - this station rules.

I've got a tattoo of Sasquatch on my right arm.

A couple of days after it was revealed that Arcade Fire would be scoring the upcoming Spike Jonze film “her” – we find out that Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be contributing as well.
Karen and Jonze have worked together in the past – with the YYY’s frontwoman scoring the directors last feature film Where the Wild Things Are. You can hear a piece of the track in the films trailer (which looks incredible) below.
“It’s a movie set in the slight future of L.A. and Joaquin Phoenix’s character buys the world’s first artificially intelligent operating system,” Jonze has explained of the film. “It basically turns into a human, this entity, this consciousness, on his computer.” Ultimately, the relationship evolves “into something more romantic,”
Her will be in theatres starting November 20th
