Tune in EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT at 10p for the best old school and new school punk rock, as spun by Joe Sib.
Complete Control Radio's playlist consists of everything from Old School Punk like The Ramones, The Clash and The Buzzco**s, to up-and-coming bands like Dead To Me, The Gaslight Anthem and The Riverboat Gamblers.
Sib started the show in 2004, and to date, Complete Control Radio is be dedicated to Punk Rock. New and old. I also wanted to give listeners an inside look at the people in the music industry - and people tied to Punk Rock through extreme sports. My guests include everyone from bands and professional skateboarders to managers, artists and agents; anyone with insight into the lifestyle of the Punk Rock music world."

Back in January we welcomed HelloGiggles.com writer Almie Rose to Complete Control. We had a blast talking to her about her writing, and she even turned us onto some great punk bands we were unaware of (like Girls At Our Best!).
We'll I've kept in touch with Almie over the last few months and I'm excited to share with you guys that she has a book coming out on July 1st! The book is titled "I Forgot To Be Famous" and is about, in Almie's own words:
"What do you do when your ex leaves you for his A-list actress ex girlfriend? How do you land a musician boyfriend? What’s it like to make a total jackass of yourself when you meet that actor you’ve had a crush on for years? What would When Harry Met Sally… look like in 2013? Am I hungry? These questions and more are answered and explored by Almie Rose in I FORGOT TO BE FAMOUS, essays and how-to’s about dating, relationships, living in Los Angeles, and how they all crash into each other, like the car chase scene in the mall in the Blues Brothers movie, which she hasn’t seen, but is not at all opposed to."
Our friends from Philly, Modern Baseball, released a video for their their song "The Weekend." Watch them party it up! It will hold us over while we anxiously await their Run For Cover record debut! What do you think?
Miss Complete Control this week? Then you missed three in a row from Flogging Molly, a debut from Philly's Hop Along and Joe Sib singing along to (and then declaring that he is officially a member of) The Bouncing Souls!
